“Rome wasn’t built in a day.”
“Don’t make mountains out of molehills.”
“Iron sharpens iron.”
They are all just sayings that signify a deeper meaning.
An encouragement that all things take time.
A reminder not to stress the little things.
A true Christian brotherhood is necessary, and accountability will bring out the best in you as a Christian man, son, brother, friend, husband, uncle, nephew, and dad. Don’t sweat the small things in men’s groups; focus on God, and he will always direct your path. It’s not always going to be easy, but it’s worth it. This is just the tip of an immense spiritual, emotional, and, at times, physical lessons I was reminded of and learned as a small group organizer. Thank you to all the men in our group for showing up week after week. Thank you for all the lessons you have taught me and are continuing to teach me. This isn’t the end. It’s just a formality. Thank you to all the staff and small group support teams at North Point Church for being there when I needed you in guidance or prayer. Indeed, last but not least, Victory Mission for allowing 17 Neanderthals the use of your facilities. In closing, I challenge all my fellow brothers and sisters in Christ to plant the seed and work to water it… but remember it is God who makes it grow. Love you all! Peace
